Celebrate Black History at Oak Park Public Library! Traveling Exhibit: Black Innovation, Invention, and Leadership in the Automotive Industry Exhibition runs January 6 – 30 during library business hours. Special event discussing the exhibit on Tuesday, January 28: 6:30 PM. We’re pleased to host an exhibit from the Automotive Hall of Fame (AHF) throughout January, which culminates in a discussion on the evening of January 28! AHF has curated stories that recognize the significant contributions of 19 African Americans to the automotive industry and how the industry has impacted Black families and communities.
